Special Education Director/School Psychologist (Contract Begins 07/01/2017) - Year Round Contract, $45,900+

Qualifications:  Valid School Psychologist Certificate Position would be responsible for coordinating all special education services, completing psychological evaluations, and providing counseling services. 

Transportation Director, $31,000+

Transportation director drives the bus, plans bus routes, supervises other drivers, oversees bus maintenance & repairs, works with staff, students, and parents, and meets state inspections and reporting requirements.

Relief Bus Drivers

CCUSD is looking for people to train as relief bus drivers.  Approximate time of bus runs:  7-9:00 a.m. and 3-5:00 p.m.  Please contact Smith Timpson if interested.  Smith@elcap.us or 435-212-0663. District will train drivers after they obtain a commercial drivers license. (CDL) $14.56+/hr.

El Capitan High School

English Teacher, $31,000+

Teacher needed to cover grades 9-12 English courses.  May also be required to teach elective classes and junior high English courses.

Mathematics Teacher, $31,000+

Upper level mathematics teacher needed to teach Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, (Preference given for PreCalculus and Calculus certification). Preference also given for Masters in Mathematics.

Career and Tech Ed (CTE) Teachers - Agriculture / Woodworking / Construction Trades /Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Economics)- Part-time Positions. 

Wages to be determined based on experience and number of classes taught. CTE certification can be obtained without a bachelors degree with documentation of 6,000 hours of work experience in the field.

Paraprofessionals: $10+ (Depending on Qualifications)

Qualifications:  Associates Degree Preferred or pass Para Pro Exam

Parent Liaison/Check and Connect Mentor - coordinate parent-school interactions/personally connect and assist high risk students

CTE Paraprofessional - Run engraving and embroidery machines and work with students on sewing and other projects - preference given to those with the experience necessary to obtain CTE certification for Family and Consumer Sciences ( Home Economics)

ESS Paraprofessional - work with a high needs disabled child.  Must be able to lift 100 lbs.

Title I Paraprofessional - Work with grade level teachers to offer reading and mathematics support to students.



Cottonwood Elementary:

Title I Lead Teacher, $30,000+

Certified teacher to coordinate Title I services to Cottonwood Elementary students.  Teacher must have extensive experience in reading and elementary mathematics instruction.  Teacher must have leadership skills necessary to supervise paraprofessionals.

Early Childhood Teachers, $31,000+

Cottonwood Elementary is hiring early childhood teachers to work with a team teacher and paraprofessionals to teach children ages 3 to 6. Qualifications: Early Childhood Certificate.

Maintenance, $10+ based on experience (Position begins 06/01/2017) - Year Round position

Cottonwood campus and building maintenance, preference given to applicants who will also be a relief bus driver or CTE teacher or both.
