Colorado City Unified School District encourages parent involvement in school at many levels. The following organizations are in place to give parents a voice. If you are interested in joining any of these groups, please contact the school front office.

PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Organization)
PTSA is an organization of parents, teachers, and students who volunteer to make a positive difference in the lives of children. Anyone can join. Parents, guardians, students, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, friends, neighbors, business, etc. All are welcome.

Career and Technical Education Local Evaluation Team
This team consists of parents, businesses, and community members. The primary function of this team is to review the goals and objectives of the Career and Technical Education grant and make recommendations to the school regarding the needs of the business community. This grant helps the school provide training for students that will give them job-ready trade skills upon graduation.

School-Wide Committee
The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) legislation monitors the District’s Title I funding. This committee includes parents, businesses, and community members and is used to develop the School-wide plan for the Colorado City Unified School District. This plan guides expenditures from the Title I, Title II, and Title IV grants.
